Devlog 2 : The Player Moves!


HEY EVERYONE!!

The character finally moves!

This update was all about getting the fundamentals right. I spent some learning the player controller and making sure the movement felt responsive and satisfying.

Here’s what’s in so far:

  • Smooth horizontal movement

  • Jumping and falling with proper gravity tuning

I’ve also got the player animations working: idle, move, jump, and fall. Here’s a peek at the current state:

Next steps? Getting some enemies going. Stay tuned
